Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address, area of interest and message. Company and phone number are optional. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry and do not include passwords or sensitive plant data.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, understand technical requirements and discuss a potential engagement. Submission does not subscribe you to marketing or authorise unrelated advertising. Processing to take steps at your request before a contract, and legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and protecting the service, are the proposed legal bases; their application must be confirmed before launch.

Technical and security information

Connections necessarily expose an IP address to the hosting service. Limited technical records may include timestamps, response status and service errors. The contact service uses a short-lived identifier derived from the IP address to limit abusive requests. Contact message bodies, credentials and session tokens are not intended for technical logs.

Handling enquiries and service providers

Enquiries are transmitted to the team’s private mailbox through an email delivery service. Hosting, infrastructure support and email providers may process information needed to supply those services. The hosting preparation uses Contabo. The final email provider, contractual data protection arrangements, processing locations and any international-transfer safeguards must be confirmed before commercial launch. We do not create marketing lists from enquiries.

Retention

Information should be retained only for handling the enquiry and any resulting engagement or applicable legal obligation. The prepared rate-limit store expires identifiers after ten minutes. A documented schedule for mailbox messages, security logs, service-provider copies and backups still requires owner approval before launch; no indefinite retention is intended.

Your rights and privacy requests

Depending on the circumstances and legal basis, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Use the contact form and select Other to raise a privacy request. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. If any processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. An alternative privacy contact route must be confirmed before launch.

Complaints

You may complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the Irish Data Protection Commission. Information is available at dataprotection.ie.

Separate application

Plant Intelligence at app.deltaiq.ie operates its own authentication and session mechanisms. Corporate enquiries do not create an application account or share a corporate session with that application.
